Field Cooking Competition 2011
Description
Ngee Ann Secondary School NPCC Unit will be organizing fun and exhilarating National Field Cooking Competition.
A maximum of 5 supporters and Only ONE team of 4 cadets and 1 reserve is required per school, for first 12 schools only.

Objectives
To foster friendship and a sharing experience between cadets
To foster good relationships between NPCC units
To promote teamwork and to bring out the competitive spirits among our cadets.

Criteria for Awards

A checklist will be prepared for judges based on;
Creativity 20 points
Presentation 15 points
Nutrition / Value 15 points
Taste, Textures, Appearances 10 points
Hygiene 10 points

Awards
Championship Award
These awards will be given to teams that have the highest, second highest and third highest scores that have been calculated based on the marking criteria.

Most Hygienic Award
Cadet marshals attached to each school will be the judges for this award based on;
Use of gloves
Tidiness of hair & nails
Mixing of cooked and uncooked food
General tidiness of cooking area (littering, spilling etc)

Best Dressed Award
The team reserve member of the team for the last 10 minutes of the cooking are to dress up according to Theme. The most impressive and outstanding attire will win this Award.

Special Award
This is a mystery award and it will be revealed on the competition day.
