Nanyang Girls' High School NPCC Unit's Inter-Unit Competition - Dream Team 2011
Introduction:
The search is on for the Dream Team of 2011!
Ever wondered who has Herculean strength? Who can solve mind-boggling brain teasers?
Or who knows NPCC knowledge like the back of his/her hand?
Nanyang Girls' High School NPCC Unit proudly presents Dream Team 2011! In Dream
Team 2011 a la a life-sized board game, aspects such as physical strength, NPCC
knowledge, brain teasers, financial management and many more will be merged to create an
exciting fun-filled game where the cadet’s abilities will be put to the test.
Objectives:
To allow the various NPCC units to come together for interaction and bonding.
To train participants to take calculated risks and measure the consequences of their
decisions.
To allow participants to increase their knowledge on NPCC.
To engage participants, such that they have FUN.
Competition Details:
The scoring system of this game will be based on money.
Each school may send a maximum of 2 teams.
Each team should consist of 4 players (Secondary 2 and above), inclusive of 1 captain.
Other than the 4 players, each team is to find a reserve who will only come should
there be any player who may be unable to make it on that day.
Each school will start with 200 dollars.
The starting station for each school will be decided by the number on the dice they roll.
To proceed from station to station, teams will roll a dice (e.g. if the team rolls “n”, they
will go to the nth station).
Once they reached their respective station, the team is to complete an activity.
The team can choose to buy or sell stocks at every station.
The game goes on until time runs out, and the team with the most money wins.
Trophies will be awarded to the top three teams and a certificate of participation will
also be given to each participating school.
