Please be reminded that if you are unable to make it for training for a valid reason you must submit any of the following:
1. MCs
2. school common test / exam timetable
3. Original school calendar (amendments to content of calendar will not be accepted)
4. letter from teacher in charge of event / school activity
5. if letter from parents is submitted, letters must include
• date of letter
• name and class of cadet
• reason / reasons for absence
• date of absence
• activity absent from
• parent’s signature and contact number
If any of these documents are not submitted and you do not come down for training, it will be considered that you have skipped training without a valid reason (truancy). A maximum of 5 letters is allowed for the entire year.
As some of you should know, attendance would be a key factor in your promotion as for every training you do not attend without a valid reason, 5 marks would be deducted. And for every training you do not attend but do not pass us a letter or MC, 3 marks would be deducted. However, if you are unable to attend training but have notified us before training by giving any of the CLs a call and pass us a MC or letter, no marks would be deducted.If you have any queries, kindly send them to sjinpccadmin@gmail.com.
