Change in falling in procedure

Dear all,

This will be the new procedure that we will start following the next training. Please do read up and if you have any questions, feel free to ask any of your CLs.

2.50pm - 2.55pm - Cadets are to fall in outside the classroom and place their belongings inside. The classroom used will be posted on the blog.

2.55pm - 3.05pm - Cadets are to move to the area outside NPCC HQ to mark the respective squads attendance and draw logistics (E.g. Camp craft items, batons, rifles etc.) if necessary. Squads who have finished marking attendance will report to the parade square. If the parade square is occupied, cadets are to wait for further instructions.

3.05pm - 3.10pm - The entire unit will take the NPCC Pledge. Thereafter, SI and DySIs will be conducting inspection of bearing of respective squads (E.g. Hair, black socks, spectacle retainers etc.)

3.10pm - Official training starts.

LATE COMING:

·     Cadets that arrive before pledge taking withouta valid reason will immediately report to the pledge taking location for pledgetaking.

·     Late cadets will put their bag at one side andjoin in the squad. After pledge taking and inspection, the late cadets willreport to HQ and have their attendance taken there. They will leave their bagsin HQ and draw arms (If necessary) and join their respective squads.

·     They will be dealt with by the CLs aftertraining after they collect their bags from HQ.

·     Their attendance be marked as present.

·     Cadets who arrive after pledge taking withouta valid reason will report to HQ directly to place their bags and draw arms(If necessary). They will then report to their respective squads.

·     They will be dealt with by the CLs aftertraining after they collect their bags from HQ.

·     Their attendance will be marked as late.

·     All cadets who are expected to be late or absentfrom training must inform Head Admin Dhameem Ansar (Class 303) via SMS or emailbefore training. The cadet must receive acknowledgement from Head Admin. It isa cadets responsibility to get an acknowledgment.

·     Reasons accepted for late coming/ absence:

1)   School-relatedofficial reasons

2)   Medicalreasons (MC to be submitted to Head Admin the next training)

3)   Urgentfamily matters: Death/ Accident of family members (Parent/ Guardian letter tobe submitted next training)

4)   Religionrelated matters

·     For school- related activities, the Officialteacher in charge of the activity must send an email to the respective squadTeacher officers.

·     Other than these, any other reasons will besubject to approval by OC Unit. Such reasons should only include officialevents outside school, which are really important.

·     If it is a minor flu, cadets are expected tocome for training and observe training so that you know what was learnt in thatparticular training. (If the flu's not serious enough to require doctor'sconsultation.)

·     Secondary 1 and 2 cadets are expected to arriveon time or before training starts as lessons end early.
