NPAP 2011

Dear all,

NPAP 2011 took place on Saturday 16 Apr 2011, and I had the honour of receiving the UOPA Gold Award for the year 2010 on SJI's behalf. Thanks to everyone from the officers, CIs,  37th Batch CLs , 38th Batch CLs and most importantly the cadets for helping us get this award! The award will be presented to the school and it is something that we can be truly proud of.

Going forward, I'd like to take this opportunity to express the unit's gratitude to the following cadets who proudly represented SJI NPCC at the parade:

2) SGT Haswan Ade Iskandar
3) SGT Nicholas Tang
4) CPL Dhameem
5) CPL Ethan Lim
6) CPL Norman Kwok
7) CPL Micheal Loh
They have trained very hard and made many sacrifices to take part in this parade and I hope that all the cadets from the unit will be inspired by the dedication of these seven cadets.

Equally worthy of mention were the other 7 cadet spectators who spent their afternoon and evening at HTA to support the unit and their fellow cadets, they are:

Thanks also goes out to Mr Winston Chew who has worked tirelessly with the marching contingent to ensure that all was in order and also to the CLs who trained the cadets before they went to NPAP. Last but not least, we also express our appreciation to Mr Dominic Ang for taking time out from his busy schedule and come to support the unit at the NPAP.

All the best for your exams, and remember that the busy part of the training year will be coming up in June, as long as we ensure full attendance for the Jun courses, ATC and STC, we will be on the track for a Gold Award in 2011.
