Police Knowledge 2/Civil Defence Course/ ATC & STC Matters

Dear Sec 2s and 3s,

Below are the details for the above mentioned activities.

Police Knowledge 2: (Sec 2)

Time: 0800 - 1200 *timing subject to change
Venue: Hwa Chong Institution, 661 Bukit Timah Road
Report at SJI
Attire: Full-Uniform

Only 1-way trip is provided, thus do make the necessary arrangements for your way back home.

Civil Defence Course: (Sec 2) 

Time: 0830 - 1730
Venue: HQ 4th CD Div, 80 Bukit Batok Road S(658072)
Report directly to the venue.
Attire: ATC Attire

No Transport is provided. Report directly to venue and make arrangements to make your way home from there.
Bring your writing materials as well as money for lunch as lunch is not provided.

ATC/STC: (Sec 3 & Sec 2)

Date: 26/6 - 28/6
Time:
0830 - Reporting Time, 1500 - Reporting time for Muslim Cadets
1300(Approx) - Dismissal Time
Venue: Changi Point Ferry Terminal
Attire: ATC Attire

No transport is provided so make the necessary arrangements to be there on time.

Important Note:

1. All items listed above are compulsory unless otherwise stated.

2. Lunch will not be provided on the first day.

3. Campers are not allowed to wear any accessories (e.g. necklaces, bracelets, ear rings etc. unless in the case of religious items) due to safety reasons during activities.

4. Campers are not allowed to bring any other food to camp other than those stated in the list above. Food rations will be provided.

5. Bespectacled campers must wear spectacle hooks/bands to ensure that spectacles will not slip off during activities.

6. All entertainment devices are not allowed e.g. playing cards, MP3 players, PSP etc.

7. Campers are allowed to bring mobile phones for communication purposes before/after the camp but will not be allowed usage during the camp.

8. Campers are reminded not to pack more than what is required in the packing list as campers may be required to travel long distances carrying their backpacks.

9. Campers are recommended not to bring or wear contact lenses due to safety reasons during water activities.

10. Campers are recommended not to bring sling bags, as the load from the bag might be too much for one shoulder. Haversacks are recommended so that the load can be distributed equally.

11. Campers are recommended to waterproof their belongings using plastic bags/zip-lock bags.


12. Campers are recommended to bring along a maximum of $10.00 each, as money is not required during the camp.
