SJI is commemorating its 166th AP this Friday on the evening of Founders Day. On the same day, SJI NPCC will be conducting its change of command ceremony from Batch 45 to Batch 46 and promotion cycle.
Below are the details. Please take a good look at it and should there be any issues, sound it out to your CLs and TOs by tomorrow.
Change of Command:
Founders Day is expected to end around 11.30pm to 11.45pm
Date: 6th April 2018
Time: 12.30pm to 1.45pm
Venue: By 12.30pm at Foyer 2
Attire:
Sec 1s: School Uniform with Tie
Sec 2s and 3s: No.3 Uniform
Sec 4s: NO.1 Uniform
ALL are to be in their respective attires with no missing uniform parts. Should you be missing some as of now, collect them during training on Thursday.
For sec 2s and 3s, we will have your promotion cycle as well. Hence your uniform is expected to be up to standard.
Please do bring some snacks to eat between the end of assembly and start of CCA. Since canteen is not open, you might not have time to eat outside. Lunch break will be given after the entire ceremony from 1.45pm onwards.
Annual Parade:
After the change of command ceremony at 1.45pm, there will be lunch break until 3.30pm. Below are the details for Annual Parade after that:
Date: 6th April 2018
Time: 4pm to 7.30pm (expect delays)
Venue: Field
Attire:
Sec 1s: School Uniform with tie
GOH: No.1
Supporting Contingent: No.3 Uniform
PDS: No.1
GOH and supporting contingent reserves to be in No.3 uniform.
Supporting contingent:
REMINDER to bring your gloves
For GOH, the gloves will be given out on the day itself.
By 4pm, everyone should gather at foyer 2 in their respective attires. From 4pm onwards, we will collect logistics and move on to our form up points when told to do so.
PLEASE make sure you hydrate yourselves during both the events happening on the same day. We do not wish to see anyone fall out due to dehydration. If you are genuinely not feeling well, sound it out before the parade starts.
